Best Archaeology Money Making Methods RS3

Growing your bank is an essential part of the game, and using different money-making methods can make your journey easier than finding and gathering loot from quests. Archaeology is an important skill you should not overlook since it’s part of some other methods. However, we will cover the best way to bring some money to your pockets by using Archaeology money making RS3 methods.

Blood Of Orcus

Although it may sound like a mission to kill Orcus, the reality is these are Material Caches you can find at Kharid-et Dig Site in the Chapel Excavation Site, in the main Fortress, and at the Slayer Tower Excavation Site. You can go to any of these locations, but the best one is the second floor of the Slayer Tower in Canifis because you can find the Cafinis lodestone nearby. For RS3 Archaeology money making, this is an excellent location since you will find three material caches from which you can excavate. You can even hop worlds if you dig every Cache before they respawn. Here are what you will need to be able to access to this method:

  • 58 Archaeology
  • 50 Summoning (optional)
  • Elder Rune Mattock, or better
  • Binding Contract for Waterfiend (optional)
  • Ring of Whispers
  • Master Achaeologist’s Outfit
  • Grace of the Elves
  • 16 Sign of the Porter V

Despite the fact that you will see the Caches respawn every 90 seconds, you will need to have an Elder Rune Mattock or better for collecting the Blood of Orcus. Moreover, you can expect your rates to change depending on the level of the Mattock you are using. If you want to increase your earnings, you can use your Mattock with perks like Honed and Fortune.

World Hop is another technique you can use to make your bank grow with this RS3 Archaeology money making method; however, you need to use perks like Imp Souled or Refined to reduce this option. You can expect earnings of about 5.9 to 6 million per hour if you complete 400 excavations of Blood of Orcus. These rates depend on your equipment and ability to complete this endeavor.

Xolo Remains

Using Archaeology money making in RS3 can make you find some extravagant finds like corpses and remains. For this method, you must exhume Xolo and destroy artifacts while you are selling all the materials you obtain in this endeavor. To do so, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • 119 Archaeology
  • 50 Summoning (optional)
  • Augmented Mattock of Time and Space recommended
  • Master Archaeologist's Outfit recommended
  • Ring of Whispers recommended
  • Grace of the Elves recommended
  • Auto-screener v1.080 recommended
  • Binding contract (Waterfiend) is optional
  • Sign of the Porter VII

One of the benefits of advocating for this RS3 Archaeology money making method is that you only need to click every 7.5 minutes if you have the 10 minutes auto logout; this will start a new artifact. You can increase your profit by using anything that takes you away from constantly using Signs of the Porter, like an XP Capacitor 5000 or Waterfiend Familiar, if that is your choice. Your rates will depend on the perks used, like Honed 6, which can make you 1100+ material per hour. On average, you can expect earnings of about 6.3 million per hour.

Tsutsaroth Remains

Another method, more corpses to be exhumed, but this time is Tsutsaroth. Following the line of the exhumation, you will need to excavate Tsutsaroth's remains and destroy artifacts while selling all the material to obtain your profit from this RS3 Archaeology money making method. Here’s what you will need to find the corpse and the artifacts to generate a profit:

  • 116 Archaeology
  • 50 Summoning (optional)
  • Augmented Mattock of Time and Space recommended
  • Master Archaeologist's Outfit recommended
  • Ring of Whispers recommended
  • Grace of the Elves recommended
  • Auto-screener v1.080 recommended
  • Binding contract (Waterfiend) is optional
  • Sign of the Porter VII

For this method, you only need to click every 7 minutes to start a new artifact if you are using the 10 minutes auto logout. The less you use the Sign of the Porter, the better, so you can use some alternatives like XP Capacitor or a Waterfiend Familiar, whatever fits you best. On average, you can expect to obtain 1000+ materials per hour using the Honed 6 perk in your Mattock. Your earnings implementing this Archaeology money making RS3 method will be about 6.4 million gold per hour.

Cobalt Blue

If you want to start using any RS3 Archaeology money making methods, this is the perfect spot to make some coins to grow your bank and also level up the skill for further usage. Cobalt Blue will only need you to have level 48 Archaeology and an Archaeological Soil Box; outside of that, you can use the method as much as you like. This is the perfect method to start with zero investment and still earn about 3 million gold per hour.

You must excavate the Material Cache Cobalt Blue at the Everlight Dig Site until it is depleted. You can use the World Hopping technique if you don’t want to wait for the cache to respawn until your inventory is full. However, we recommend using a higher-level Mattock with perks like Honed, Fortune, Imp Souled, or Refined to increase your rates and avoid the world hopping. Using a Ring of Whispers will boost gathering rates by 3%, and Master Archaeology Outfit will increase 7% on your excavation rates.

You can even increase your earnings by using an Imcando Mattock and level up Archaeology skills up to 80, which translates into 5 million gold per hour, and expect to have 390 Cobalt Blue and 160 Salt Water Mud for this money making with Archaeology RS3 method.
