Decorated Urns

It is one of the best RS3 Crafting money making methods because you can do it with different Urns and still obtain a fantastic profit when doing so. Decorated Urns are a type of pot that can be created using the Crafting skill. To craft the Urn itself, you'll need to use a Potter's Wheel or Portable Crafter, as well as two pieces of soft clay. You will form the clay into Unfired (unf) Urn, and in the Potter’s Wheel or the Portable Crafter, you must select which type of Urn you want to make.

Before you can decorate your Urn, you must go through the whole process by using a Pottery Oven, a Portable Crafter or by casting a Lunar Spell called ‘Fire Urn’, and you will get a no-rune-attached Urn. At this point in this RS3 Crafting money making method, the fun really begins. As you can create different variants while decorating your Urn by imbuing a Rune to it. Take a look below at the types of Runes you can use when creating Decorated Urns:

  • Cooking - Fire rune
  • Divination - Mind rune
  • Farming - Nature rune
  • Fishing - Water rune
  • Hunter - Mud rune
  • Mining - Earth rune
  • Prayer - Air rune
  • Runecrafting - Pure essence
  • Smithing - Fire rune
  • Woodcutting - Earth rune

Despite the fact that you will have all these different options for decorating the Urns, for each piece, it will have a skill-specific requirement; depending on your level, you can start with one or another. For these RS3 Crafting money making methods, you will be required to have a high level of Crafting between 76 and 88 to access every Decorated Urns.

To get started with this Crafting money making RS3 method, we recommend buying Soft Clay, since buying the No-rune-attached Urn is more costly for beginners. Once you have the 3,600 Soft Clay, head to the Ithell District of Prifddinas to use the Pottery Wheel. You will notice the nearest bank is the chest southeast of the Potter Wheel, which is excellent for completing your route and returning to make more Urns.

If you're unable to access Pridffinas, you can create the Urns in the Crafting Guild and bank at the chest in the Clan Camp. Opting for this area and method will be a little slower, thus lowering your earnings due to the distance traveled between the Pottery Wheel and the bank.

Once you have crafted the Urns, the next step is imbuing them with the Fire Urn spell. This will require an Elemental Battlestaff to accelerate the process, which requires level 82 Magic to wield. If you don't meet these requirements or don't have the Lunar Spellbook unlocked, you can use the Pottery Oven. However, this will decrease your efficiency by five times, drastically cutting your profits earned from this RS3 Crafting money making method.

On average, the profit you can expect is about 23 to 26 million per hour, depending on the Decorated Urn you choose. This output is without cutting your initial investment, which will be around 11 to 12 million coins, since you have to buy 3,600 Soft Clay and 1,800 Runes of your choice before beginning this Crafting money making RS3 method.

Battlestaves

Battlestaves are powerful tools for all players, and Crafting is an excellent way to obtain them and earn a profit. One of the usages of the Battlestaff is casting spells that can be used to accelerate the processes of not only RS3 Crafting money making method, but several other skill related spells and tasks. Their broad utility creates the opportunity to gain significant profit by selling them, as they are always needed by players.

For our Crafting money making RS3 guide, you can make any of the four elements of Battlestaves, but depending on which one you focus on, you will need different requirements. Here, you can check the Crafting level you need for each one:

  • Water: 54 Crafting
  • Air: 66 Crafting
  • Earth: 58 Crafting
  • Fire: 62 Crafting

You won’t need to complete any quest or have any special requirements, but you must have a Portable Crafter and the Orb you will use to make the Battlestaff into an Elemental Battlestaff. We recommend you buy the Battlestaves, but you will see there’s a limit of 1,000 every 4 hours. You can make an offer and, over time, go and gather them or ask your friend to buy some for you. On average, you must invest 11 million coins for 2,500 Battlestaff and 2,500 Orbs (Fire, Water, Air or Earth). You will spend only 15 seconds per inventory, which is about 2,500 Battlestaves per hour. Our recommendation for this RS3 Crafting money making is to use a bank preset to reduce your banking time and be able to produce more in the same time.

On average when making high value Battlestaves, you can expect to earn between 3-5 million per hour, which is an excellent profit for a quick and easy RS3 Crafting money making method.

Jewelry: Dragonstone

The jewelry can offer many advantages to your endeavors, but creating and selling them as a RS3 Crafting money making method offers a very nice profit. Dragonstone Jewelry is one of the most highly requested pieces, making it an essential marker for starting your business. Here's what you'll need to get started with this method:

  • Completion of Family Crest quest, since it will allow you to store the Gold in the metal bank.
  • Completion of New Foundations will give you access to Fort Forinthry.
  • Artisan’s Outfit (if you want to generate additional XP during your endeavors)
  • 1,680 Dragonstone
  • 1,680 Gold Bar

The profit from crafting Dragonstone Jewelry will vary depending on where you want to start with the sets. Most jewelry sets consist of Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets and Unstrung Amulets, with each of them having a different Crafting level requirement. In the case of this Crafting money making RS3 method, Rings require level 55 Crafting, and Unstrung Amulets need 80.

In general, it’s a simple process. First, you must deposit the Gold Bars into the metal bank of the furnace. We recommend you create a bank preset with an inventory of 28 Dragonstones. Head to the furnace and use it to craft the Dragonstone Jewelry piece, then return to the back and bank your inventory. After doing so, repeat the process. On average, you can expect to craft about 1,700 Dragonstone Jewelry pieces per hour, depending on your speed. Your earnings will be about 3 to 4 million coins per hour, depending on your Dragonstone Jewelry of choice, and after the initial investment of about 12 million coins,

Jewelry: Emerald

Crafting Emerald Jewelry can be extremely beneficial to your bank, and is a great way to start your RS3 Crafting money making journey. Emerald Jewelry doesn't need too much from you in terms of requirements and supplies but still offers a decent earning. Here's what you'll need to make all of the Rings, Necklaces, and Amulets, both Unstrung and String.

  • 27 - 31 Crafting
  • Completion of Family Crest
  • Artisan’s Outfit (if you want additional XP during your endeavors)
  • 1,300 Gold Bar
  • 1,300 Emerald
  • 1,100 Ball of Wool (if you will make Amulets)

To begin with the process of crafting the Emerald Jewelry pieces, you must combine the Gold Bars and Emeralds in a furnace. An excellent location to do this is the Lumbridge furnace since it is one of the fastest. For your inventory, we recommend you preset it as 14 Emerald and 14 Gold Bars to find balance and efficiency while using this method. However, if you complete the Family Crest quest, you will be able to preset your inventory with 28 Emeralds since you can store Gold Bars in the metal bank; withdraw your preset from the bank and head to the furnace, create the jewelry, return and repeat the process.

On average, your profit for creating any of the pieces is about 2 to 3 million per hour. You can expect to make about 1,300 Emerald Jewelry pieces like Rings, Necklaces, and Unstrung Amulets per hour. If you are planning to craft Emerald Amulets, you can expect to have a lower production (about 1,000 - 1,100 per hour), but your rates will stay the same. If you want to take things further, you can String Emerald Amulets, with a production rate of about 5,000 per hour; still, your profit rate will stay within the aforementioned parameters of this RS3 Crafting money making method.
